Toyota Australia has launched a special edition Land Cruiser 70th Anniversary Edition to celebrate its seven-decade presence.
Design
The special edition Land Cruiser has the GXL trim look of the 70 series model and is equipped with a black grille emblazoned with the Toyota emblem in the middle. At the bottom, there are black headlight and fender bezels, fog lamps and LED-tech DRLs, and black 16-inch wheels.
Inside the cabin, the darkish shades are visible on the leather seats, steering wheel, and transmission lever. The dashboard is patterned with wood panels and chrome accents on the AC vents. Meanwhile, the center console embeds the Land Cruiser logo.
A mid control area has likewise been fitted, finished with two extra 2.1-amp Type A USB chargers and a couple of cupholders.
“The 70th Anniversary special-edition is a tribute to the many LandCruisers that came before it, helping Australians navigate our harsh and rugged environment, whether that’s through the desert, across the mountains or deep in the forest.” – Toyota Australia
