Matt Mears was a student at Bristol University when he began to restore old bicycles. His hobby then developed into Temple Cycles Company. Still operating in Bristol, it moves vintage style bicycles with present-day constructs which it collects in its own workshop. The most recent addition entering the lineup is the Adventure Disc.
The Temple CycleAdventure Disc is a bike designed for adventurers. This bike will be able to bring users everywhere. Passing rocks, walking around the countryside, climbing hills, these bikes can do it all. The research to built the Adventure Disc bike is taking 2 years so that it can be a bicycle that can pass through all terrain.
Adventure Disc is equipped with 4 brake plates that are resistant to all weather. This bike uses the Brooks B17 saddle and Shimano 105 gear. The part of the frame uses Reynolds series 725 which is known to be strong and durable.
Indeed, even the best wheel building machines can’t coordinate the quality and nature of the flawlessly tensioned handbuilt bike, the bikemaker joined forces with British master Hunt to offer their prestigious rock loops. Each bike is worked by hand to the demanding resilience and comes completely ready and prepared for any experience
Because it is designed for all-terrain, the weight of this bike is quite light, no more than 11kg. So it is not heavy when used, especially in difficult and difficult terrain. The Adventure Disc bike is available in 3 color choices, namely slate blue, lichen green, peaty gray. The price for this Britain-made bike is £ 1695.
“We’re really excited to get the Adventure Disc into the hands of riders. The design comes out of my own love of getting off the beaten track, so I’ve designed the bike to handle anything you can throw at it. The Adventure Disc is a reliable, versatile and comfortable companion.” Matt – Founder of Temple Cycle
