The AX Visio, designed by the renowned industrial designer Marc Newson, is a perfect blend of analog and digital technologies. It offers a unique viewing experience enhanced with digital input, making it an ideal tool for hunters, birdwatchers, and outdoor enthusiasts. The official launch is set for January 8, 2024, at the CES in Las Vegas, with availability from February 1, 2024, at selected retailers and online.

Its intelligent technology, combined with SWAROVISION high-precision analog optics, assists in real-time identification of over 9,000 birds and other wildlife. The integrated camera captures high-quality photos and videos, which can be managed and shared instantly via the SWAROVSKI OPTIK Outdoor App. Additionally, the “Share discoveries” function allows users to guide others to the observed object using arrow markers in the display.

Developed over five years, the AX Visio consists of approximately 390 hardware parts. Its core is an integrated operating and object-recognition system powered by a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) for fast information processing. The device’s analog components, such as optics and housing, meet SWAROVSKI OPTIK’s sustainable quality standards. Regular system and function updates ensure a long product life cycle, with an open programming interface for future expansions.
