Peugeot has just introduced the latest generation concept car of the Peugeot Boxer which has previously sold more than 720,000 units worldwide. The Peugeot Boxer 4×4 concept has been officially introduced at the Recreational Vehicle Show, Le Bourget, France.
This transporter is designed with the Camper Van concept to explore various types of terrain, with all-wheel drive (AWD) wheels, special tires, and higher ground clearance. The Peugeot Boxer 4 × 4 actually takes the chassis of the Boxer L3. But by Peugeot modified so that the overall length of stretchy up to 6 meters.
The concept car with an area of 10 square meters is provided accommodation for three passengers including the driver and very complete camper equipment. Factors that trigger the convenience of the Boxer 4×4 is quite noticeably noted by the Peugeot.

Luxurious yet environmentally friendly nuance is still embedded in this concept car, which is contained in the Alcantara gray-colored material. While the floor uses 100% recycled material from plastic.
The company claims that the Peugeot Boxer 4×4 concept car is able to accommodate the electric mountain bike Peugeot eM02 FS Powertube on the rear side of the car and Canadian canoe on the roof, which gives the impression of a multifunctional exploratory car that is ready to be taken anywhere to adventure.
The Peugeot Boxer 4×4 concept carries a diesel engine, BlueHDi 165, which produces 370 Nm of torque to the all-wheel drive or four-wheel drive system using BF Goodrich off-road tires. This is to support perfect durability, appearance, and traction in gravel, muddy, snowy and rocky road conditions.
The engine is mated with a 6-speed manual transmission system with three driving modes, namely 2WD mode, for daily driving on asphalt roads; 4WD mode, where the transmission can channel power to four-wheel drive on off-road roads; and Lock mode, to lock the rear axle which is useful in extreme conditions when crossing rivers or extreme bridges.
As for the tech, the Peugeot Boxer 4×4 concept car has also been pinned by a 9-inch screen from Alpine that is connected to the Alpine Satellite Navigation System. This technology can calculate travel routes cleverly to avoid bridges and small, narrow, and dangerous roads.
The monitor is also connected to Apple Car Play & Android Auto while also compatible with Waze navigation systems for real-time road conditions.
