OnePlus officially introduces the latest flagship smartphones, the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro. The two smartphones are successors to the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro, which were released last year. But for this article, we will only discuss the Pro variant.
As a successor, the smartphone offers a number of improvements in terms of specifications and features, especially in the camera sector. OnePlus cooperates with the Swedish camera company, Hasselblad, to improve the shooting performance of the OnePlus 9 Pro.
Camera
Regarding the camera, the OnePlus 9 Pro will be equipped with four rear cameras that are mounted vertically with a square module on the back of the body.
The four lenses each have different resolutions and functions and are integrated with one another. Starting from 48 MP (wide), 8 MP (telephoto), 50 MP (ultra-wide), and 2 MP (depth sensor).
Interestingly, the primary camera of the OnePlus 9 Pro is equipped with a Hasselblad optical lens which will be able to guarantee sharper photo zoom quality. In addition, the video recording performance is capable of reaching 8K quality.
Meanwhile, the OnePlus 9 Pro front camera relies on a 16 MP lens that is very reliable in ensuring the need for selfie photos.
Display
Turning to the display, the OnePlus 9 Pro packs a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1440p and a maximum brightness level of 1,300 nits. This panel has adopted LTPO (low-temperature polycrystalline oxide) technology, which means that the refresh rate can be automatically adjusted between 1Hz – 120Hz to increase battery life while still providing a smooth user experience.
Features
Apart from photography, its gaming capabilities are also favored thanks to the use of the Snapdragon 888 chip and an upgraded cooling system. The OnePlus 9 Pro has a broader vapor chamber dimension, and the graphite layer is thicker than the previous series.
Via Warp Charge 65T technology, charging a 4,500 mAh battery only takes 29 minutes. While wireless support for Warp Charge 50W is also present capable of reaching 43 minutes to 100%. OnePlus also features IP68 certification, plus a Pine Green color option with a matte glass finish.

The OnePlus 9 Pro will be present in the three main regions first; the United States, Europe, and India. As for the price, the cheapest OnePlus 9 Pro variant with 8 / 128GB is tagged at $ 969, while the 12GB / 256GB model is priced at $ 1,069.
