The standard performance of the McLaren Senna is very much capable to drain adrenalin as a track-day car. However, Novitec presents a wild idea by creating a modification package that gives an additional 100 HP power to the already beasty machine.
Inspired by the legendary Brazilian racer, Ayrton Senna, McLaren Senna was created as a track-day monster with a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 789 HP and 800 Nm of torque. But the stats are deemed lacking for one of the German tuners, Novitec.
On the case that anybody wants the maximum performance from a McLaren hypercar but still keeping it legal road, the option lies to the McLaren Senna modification package made by Novitec.
On the McLaren Senna modification, Novitec uses ECU piggyback to change the value of engine management. As a result, the engine power and torque have increased to 889 HP and 888 Nm of torque, up to 100 HP and 88 Nm of torque from the standard.
In addition to the ECU, the Novitec McLaren Senna modification added a high-level exhaust system from the GTR, and the exhaust system could be installed without engine tuning. The customer can also choose two exhaust hole finishing options, stainless steel or matte black.
Since it has been very aggressive by nature, the McLaren Senna modification in the style of Novitec does not touch the body and aero sectors. However, the tuner changed the standard rim to the size of 20 inches (front) and 21 inches (rear) output by Vossen wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires.
Entry into the cabin is also not immune from changes that are designed more luxuriously with a layer of leather and Alcantara. Customers can also choose at least 72 colors for the rim, and can modify the interior of the car with leather and Alcantara materials of their choices.
On the test that is conducted by Novitec, the McLaren Senna standard can go from 0-100 km/h in 2.7 seconds and Novitec claims they have up the ante in the acceleration from 0-200, which only takes 6.5 seconds with a top speed of 334 km/hour.
