Logitech keeps on pushing new products to dominate the market. Lately, the company specialized in computer peripherals has a new wireless gaming mouse, the G604. The direct successor of the G603 comes with a lot of changes in various aspects, and the most obvious one for us is the whole new design.
Logitech takes the product back to the drawing board and creates the Logitech cG604 that comest a small extension shape like a wing on the left side. The shape is indeed different from that of the Logitech MX Master 3, but the premise offered is the same, namely to be the place where the user’s thumb can rests.
The number of buttons has also dramatically increased from a pair to six macro buttons, making it ideal for playing MMORPG and MOBA games. These six buttons can be programmed to activate each item slot, all without the need to rely on a keyboard.
In total, there are 15 different buttons on the Logitech G604, all of which can be programmed as needed. What’s interesting is the scroll wheel, which can switch modes between click-per-click or continuous scrolling.
Moving on to the performance, the Logitech G604 is powered by a 16K HERO optical sensor, an upgrade to the first generation HERO sensor introduced by its predecessor. The sensor not only offers a maximum DPI of up to 16,000 but also has a very efficient energy consumption.
Logitech claims that with just one AA battery, the G604 can operate for up to 240 hours nonstop under Lightspeed connectivity. In the case where the user uses Bluetooth connectivity, the battery can even last up to 5.5 months.
The dual connectivity option can be altered by a click of a button, and this means users can switch devices in the same way, because each type of connection can be connected to a different computer; such as Lightspeed on a home PC, and Bluetooth on an office laptop.
Logitech comes up with a great product on G603 but the company didn’t just stop there and create a whole new dimension of awesomeness through the Logitech G604 wireless gaming mouse that has already available on the market for € 99.99.
