It is also compatible with VIA software, which is software that allows users to adjust the in-depth settings of the keyboard. Keychron Q1 supports the use of Hot-Swappable; switches or keycaps can be replaced instantly without having to do any soldering by yourself. This particular feature is one of the most essential characteristics to attract fans of the custom keyboard.
As for the material of the Keychron Q1, it consists of a CNC Aluminum case with sound-absorbing foam placed between the plate and the keyboard’s PCB board to deliver vivid sound during keystrokes. The keyboard’s layouts are available in both ANSI and ISO configurations.

The Keychron Q1 is available for purchase in both Barebones without switches and keycaps. And the version that comes with ABS keycaps and switches inside the box. Of course, there will be a slightly different selling price.
The Keychron Q1 keyboard is marketed starting from $169.00 and is available in three different colors: Carbon Black, Navy Blue, and Space Grey. Potential customers can also pick their favorites switches as the manufacturer provides four options – Gateron Phantom Red, Gateron Phantom Blue, Gateron Phantom Brown, and Barebone.
Inside every purchased box of the Keychron Q1 QMK Custom Mechanical Keyboard, there will be the keyboard PCB, the aluminum plate, Double Shot ABS keycaps, switches, and a premium coiled Type-C cable.
