Kenko, a well-known Japanese camera and accessories manufacturer, has introduced the “Kenko Toy Camera Pieni M,” a new addition to its popular Pieni series of miniature digital cameras. The latest model features an LCD monitor, allowing users to easily frame their shots and preview captured images on the go.
The Pieni M maintains the series’ iconic, classic camera-inspired design while offering both photo and video modes. Users can switch between capturing still images and recording short video clips, and the included neck strap makes it easy to carry the camera as a trendy accessory.
The camera also comes with built-in color filters, accessible through the monitor button in both photo and video modes. Users can experiment with various creative effects, such as monochrome, orange, blue, or green filters, to add a unique touch to their images.
Images captured with the Pieni M have a dreamy, painterly quality reminiscent of watercolors or oil paintings. While the camera may not produce the crisp, high-resolution images of modern digital cameras or smartphones, its soft, atmospheric renderings offer a refreshing change of pace in today’s world of ultra-sharp digital photography. The Kenko Toy Camera Pieni M is available in two classic colors: black and grayish-blue.
