The RAM1500 TRX is an absolute beast. The American pickup truck is powered by a turbocharged V8 with a capacity of 6.2 l and 712 hp. But somehow, the stats is still not enough for Hennessey’s customers. Also, some of them have large families, so the pickup cab is just too tight for them. This is then how the 7-seater Hennessey Mammoth 1000 SUV was born – “the king of SUVs,” as the manufacturer calls it.
Design
Hennessey had picked up a Ram 1500 TRX before, resulting in a super performance pickup with a long name, the Hennessey Mammoth 1000 Supercharged RAM TRX.
But now, the specialists from Texas have gone a step further and created a vehicle with a cabin for seven.
The custom specialist built a cargo box by extending the roof, adding large windows, rear pillars, and a trunk lid. Thanks to this, they now could arrange seven comfortable seats for passengers traveling in three rows of seats. As the manufacturer assures, there is enough space for luggage.
Unfortunately, no specific numbers or photos of the cabin were made available, and Hennessey limited himself to showing one picture at all. It is only known that there are two separate seats in the front and middle rows, and there is a folding couch in the back.
Features
Like the Hennessey Mammoth 1000 SUV pickup before, it is powered by a turbocharged 6.2-liter V8 Frame reinforced by modifying the turbocharger, injectors, and engine management up to 1026hp. The maximum torque is 1,314 Nm.
The super-powerful machine allows the owner to accelerate the mighty SUV in 0-60 mph (0-96.5 km / h) in 3.2 seconds and cover the quarter-mile in 11.4 seconds.
The SUV is equipped with the Hennessey Mammoth off-road package, which includes a 2.5-inch increase in ground clearance, a special front bumper with LED lights, 20-inch 10-spoke Hennessey rims, and a front-wheel suspension leveling kit.
Price and Availability
The company claimed that the Hennessey Mammoth 1000 SUV would remain an exclusive vehicle, which resulted in a 20 units production, each of which will have a number badge.
Accordingly, the price was set – USD 375,000 net plus taxes, transport, etc.
