Casio has announced the release of the GPR-H1000, a new addition to the G-SHOCK brand known for its shock-resistant watches. This model, part of the RANGEMAN series, is designed for survival settings and is equipped with an optical heart rate sensor and GPS functionality, making it ideal for use in harsh natural environments.
Designed for Extreme Professional Use
The GPR-H1000 is part of the Master of G line, which caters to professionals working in extreme conditions on land, at sea, or in the air. The RANGEMAN series, in particular, is equipped with a Triple Sensor that measures compass bearing, altitude/barometric pressure, and temperature, essential for those operating in challenging land environments like jungles and dense forests.
Advanced Features for Survival Settings
This watch is built to withstand dust and mud and comes with a range of sensors, including a heart rate monitor, accelerometer, and gyroscope, to track various activities and environmental changes. Its GPS functionality allows for precise location data, crucial for monitoring conditions in demanding environments. The GPR-H1000 supports nine different activities, providing vital information such as heart rate, distance traveled, altitude, and speed.
