Anker recently presented PowerConf C300, a high-performance webcam with FullHD resolution, wide-angle, and artificial intelligence features.
Design
Anker tends to bet on high-end designs and materials in its products, but for this one, the company chooses a fairly familiar format where the customer will have a central panel that the sensor predominates, surrounded by a metallic colored ring in which we will read its capabilities.
It can capture 1080p (FullHD) with frame rates of 60 FPS. The back is constructed of matte plastic which gives a feel of remarkable quality and sturdiness. It has an opening for the cable in that same USB-C rear part which will act as the only connector.
Software
In essence, this Anker PowerConf C300 is Plug & Play. Its artificial intelligence system and autofocus capabilities should be enough for daily uses. However, it is important to have support software, in this case, AnkerWork which customers can download for free.
Using this software, the owner can be able to adjust three viewing angles of 78 °, 90 °, and 115 °, as well as the selection between three qualities of capture between 360P and 1080P, passing by the possibility of adjusting the FPS, to activate and deactivate the focus, HDR and an anti-flicker function.
The camera performs well in low light conditions as it has an image correction system for these cases automatically. It is also capable of working with lots of operating systems starting with macOS 10.14 and Windows greater than Windows 7.
Price and Availability
Without a doubt, the Anker Webcam PowerConf C300 is planned to be a definitive tool for meetings thanks to the quality of its microphones and the versatility it offers. As for the price tag, the latest webcam from Anker is priced starting from $129.99 on Amazon and Anker’s official website.
