The Acer Predator Thronos is as you can see, is not just any gaming chair. By taking a glimpse of it, we might suggest that the chair looks like a VR headset placed on a stand, but in reality, it has a main structure made of steel.
Entering the seat, you will immediately be greeted by a chair that can be tilted up to 140 degrees. Acer does care about the comfortable aspect as a footrest will appear automatically when the seat is tilted. After that, with a click of a button, a pair of giant arms will move in to put on the monitor and a small table in front of you.
The small table is entirely covered by a mousepad, while the monitor is three 27-inch curved monitors that are lined up. While playing, the chair will vibrate following the action in the game. The audio system is still relying on a headset.
Acer Predator Thronos comes with a unique structure with a height of 1.5 meters weighing 220 kg and equipped with wheels at the bottom. The overall shape is very futuristic, with black dominates the overall colors, plus, it is equipped with LED accent lights which can be adjusted.
The ultimate gaming chair’s display is handled by three curved screen gaming monitors. Inside the cockpit, Predator Thronos is equipped with control arch to adjust the height of the three monitor stands. The system is also equipped with a cabin controller panel to adjust the inclination of the seat, footrest, and keyboard support.
Unlike the other gaming chairs, the Predator Thronos consists of Acer Predator Orion 9000 or Orion 5000 gaming desktop PCs, three Predator Z271 U monitors, Cestus 510 Predator mouse, Predator Galea 300 headset, Predator Aethon 500 keyboard, and customized mousepad.
The Acer Predator Thronos is available in two configurations. The first variant is called the Ultimate Gaming Experience that is supported by the Acer Predator Orion 9000 (PO9-900). The desktop PC runway is an Intel Core i9-9700X and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080Ti dual SLI graphics card.
The second variant is dubbed Premium Gaming Experience. The difference between the two is that this variant is using the Predator Orion 5000 (PO5-610) with Intel Core i7-9700K and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080.
