Aprilia is revving up the market as they introduced Tuareg 660, the latest adventure motorcycle with a classic livery as the main visual attraction.
Design
After several teasers, on July 31, 2021, Aprilia revealed the look of the new Aprilia Tuareg 660. The main characteristics of Aprilia are still observed in this new motorbike, for example in the form of lamps with the iconic Aprilia style.
The choice of color livery in the Aprilia Tuareg 660 is also special, taking a combination of blue, red, white, and gray. This livery is inspired by the historic livery model at Aprilia Tuareg in the past.
Engine
The new Aprilia Tuareg 660 carries the same liquid-cooled 660cc V-Twin engine as the Aprilia RS660 and Tuono 660. The [pwertrain is capable of producing 80 HP and 70 Nm of maximum torque and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The front wheels measure 21 inches and the rear wheels are 18 inches wrapped in dual-purpose tubeless tires. There is Brembo braking on both wheels of this Aprilia Tuareg 660.
The latest adventure motorbike is also bragging 43 mm upside-down front suspension and rear monoshock which has a level adjustment. Meanwhile, The tank capacity is clocked at 18 liters.
On the cockpit, there is a TFT instrument panel with Bluetooth connectivity. There are many electronic features embedded into the Aprilia Tuareg 660 via APRC including traction control, cruise control, engine braking, fuel maps, and more.
There are also 4 driving modes and Detachable ABS features added on this new adventure motorbike.
Price and Availability
Although the specs list is already out there, unfortunately, the brand is still keeping the price tag of Aprilia Tuareg 660 close to their chest. Rumor has it, the adventure motorcycle is going to be on sale in late 2022 with a price range of $11,500-$12,000.
