Adding to its amazing line up of boxer motor vehicles, Subaru as of late divulged its new 2019 Series.Gray WRX and WRX STI models. The automaker intends to keep its maturing WRX and WRX STI models important by including another limited edition release Series.Gray trim for the 2019 model year.
Subaru has pulled this shading themed “trap” a couple of times previously, including orange, black, and white limited versions of the past age WRX.
Exterior and Powertrain
As its name suggests, the WRX and WRX STI Series.Gray wear a layer of Cool Gray Khaki paint, which is joined by darkly painted mirrors, dark wheels, and black badges.
The one responsible for the power of the WRX originates from a 268-strength 2.0-liter level four motor. The motor in the 2091 WRX STI Series.Gray is a turbocharged 2.5-liter boxer motor creating 310 hp.
The less expensive of the two is the WRX Series.Gray, coming with the price tag at $32,595. In the interim, burning through $39,695 will get you the WRX STI Series.Grey.
Interior
With the standard Subaru Performance Package upgrades, the WRX receives JURID front brake pads while the STI model is built with a sportier Bilstein suspension setup and Brembo brakes.
Inside, the two autos accompany Ultrasuede Recaro seats, with driver control change, alongside versatile LED headlights, LED fog lights and keyless begin. The STI gets an Ultrasuede guiding wheel, as well. Recaro seats with an eight-way control driver’s seat are additionally standard. The keyless section with push-button start is found in the WRX STI too.
This Fall
Launch at the 2019 Subaru Tecnica International Boxerfest, the autos will be super constrained with just 750 WRX units and 250 WRX STIs set to be delivered. Both of the cars will be arriving at their dealer this fall.
